As the national authority for the Malaysian spa and wellness industry, our mission is anchored by three Strategic Pillars:
National Voice & Industry Advocate
AMSPA is the recognised voice of the Malaysian spa and wellness industry.
- Represents spa operators at national level
- Engages directly with MOTAC, Ministry of Health, local councils (PBT) and other agencies
- Advocates on critical issues such as licensing, regulations, foreign worker quotas, and industry policies
- Provides a formal platform for members to raise concerns and shape industry direction
Standards, Rating & Professional Governance
AMSPA plays an active role in raising industry standards and credibility.
- Active participation in the Malaysia Spa Rating Programme
Serving on inspection panels alongside government bodies - Contributing to the development of Muslim-Friendly Spa Guidelines
- Promoting professionalism, ethical practices, and quality assurance among members
Industry Development, Education & Community Building
AMSPA nurtures growth through education, connection, and collaboration.
- Training and continuous education opportunities via registered academies
- Internship placements with TVET, universities, and private institutions
